Speed Speaker Showcase

Professional speakers are invited to apply for participation—one 15-minute speaking opportunity. The cost is $300 per presenter. The number of speakers is limited; speaker application is subject to review.
- Travel to the showcase, and ancillary travel expenses, is the responsibility of the presenter.
- Presenters agree to speak within the time slot assigned regardless of audience size and make up. Presenters may speak within one time slot only.
- Presenters will be asked to provide a photo and the topic in advance, as well as their typical speaking price range.
- Application will be subject to review in order to present a vast array of topics and speaking styles. Presenters who have submitted their credit card information and fully applied for participation will be notified by February 17 of their status.
- Presenters accepted into the showcase will receive a packet of information by March 9 (dependent upon application date) including the day's itinerary, speaking time slot and other miscellaneous guidelines.
- Presenters may also have books, CDs or training kits available for sale during the showcase. Items for sale are limited to two per presenter. Presenters must be accepted into the showcase in order to have items for sale. Items will be sold directly by the presenters, and not by MPI or university personnel.
- Presenters have the additional opportunity to be professionally videotaped for an additional $150. Presenters will be sent a CD or USB thumb drive after the event. Videos will be unedited, high-resolution video of their showcase presentation and audience. Videotaping is provided by a professional outside source; while MPI takes responsibility for videotaping to occur, it will not be responsible for the quality of the video/audio.
- Presenters accepted into the Showcase who do not show up and speak will be charged the full amount they've registered for.
