It’s Our Turn!
Welcome to the First Issue of the
MPI-Utah eVision Newsletter.
Industry publications are constantly highlighting success in our industry – showcasing the who’s who of the event world talking about the how to’s of meeting management. While once in a while one of our “own” is in the spotlight, we inevitably spend more time hearing and reading stories and ideas from “elsewhere” - while not always realizing the incredible people and unparalleled opportunities that are created right here in our own Wasatch Front backyard.

Experience Great Education at PEC
2006 is shaping up to be an exciting time for the meetings industry. There’s no better way to jump start the new year than with the great education at the 2006 Professional Education Conference-North America (PEC-NA), January 22-24, in the easily accessible and cost-effective destination of Charlotte, N.C.
"As a first time attendee of an International MPI event I didn’t know what to expect after I landed in Miami. I attended the opening session of the conference and there saw the real potential of my experience. All around me were people who are involved in the same business I am. The energy in the room was amazing. Everyone was riveted to the stage. I left the event uplifted and energized. This was just the beginning, the education sessions began. There were too many sessions that I wanted to attend and not enough time. Throughout the event I was able to network and meet new people. I gained more of a global perspective talking and listening to other attendees. Every MPI member should take the opportunity to attend an International event - what you will gain will out weight the cost." --Bonnie Larsen, Radisson Hotel SLC Downtown |
