How do I join the MPI - Utah Chapter?

Membership in MPI may be the best professional move you will ever make.

Can I belong to the MPI - Utah Chapter if I do not live and work in the area?

MPI members may select any chapter from around the world. Most choose a chapter near their base of operations, but because of business or other considerations, some do opt for remote chapter memberships or subscription memberships.

What is a subscriber member?

MPI members typically belong to the geographically closest chapter to their home base. However, some members may live and work in one area, but want to keep up with a chapter in a different area. For a nominal annual charge, MPI - Utah Chapter subscriber members are included in our mailing list and receive all announcements and newsletters.

How many meetings can a non-member attend?

MPI - Utah Chapter policy states that a non-member of MPI may attend 2 chapter meetings before they must join the organization in order to attend future meetings. This grace period allows prospective members to get to know more about MPI and our Utah Chapter.

Can I attend one MPI meeting as a member since I am a member of another chapter or do I have to join both to attend?

You can attend any MPI meeting but must be a subscribing or full member in order to pay member rates.

When are the meetings?

The MPI - Utah Chapter usually meets the second Tuesday of the month. There are exceptions based on programming, holidays, etc. Meetings are usually held in Salt Lake City, but may be hosted at interesting venues throughout the area.

How many members are in the chapter? How many are suppliers? How many are planners?

The MPI - Utah Chapter is always on the move! We have over 150 members, and continue to add new members all the time. Planner members account for nearly half of the total membership. MPI strives to maintain an equal balance of planners and suppliers throughout its membership.

How can I update my membership information so I can get meeting notices and newsletter?
