In Memory

Brent PribilMPI Utah mourns the loss of a good friend, colleague, and industry leader, Brent Pribil, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. His contributions to the meetings and events community have been extraordinary through his work with Cornerstone, Vision Event Productions and Omniture. He has spent countless hours in service on committees and community events promoting the meeting industry. He was influential in the planning and promotion of the WEC in Salt Lake City last year, specifically, in the messaging of Utah through the CVB’s marketing video shown at the 2008 MPI WEC in Las Vegas, which invited the world to experience Salt Lake, through the eyes of the quirky Babs Babcock.

He loved working with people and had a unique ability to unify groups of people to a common goal. Past MPI Utah President Elizabeth Payne saw this often. "Personally, I will always remember him as a great man of Faith who loved his family above all else. His infectious personality and quick wit kept us laughing over the years."

Brent is a past recipient of MPI Utah’s Supplier of the Year award. Brent, we will miss your infectious enthusiasm, humor, good nature and most of all we will miss your friendship.
